The All Progressives Congress (APC) have announced results and returned chairmanship aspirants as candidates across the 20 Local Government and 37 Local Council Development in the state aftermath the Saturday primary elections at ACME, Ikeja.
APC had cleared over 400 aspirants for the election.
27 LGA executives made up of delegates in each of the 20 Local Government and 37 Local Council Development, that voted for their choice candidates, but primaries were not conducted some council areas.
While Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo – Alogba, the incumbent Chairman Ijede LCDA, was returned unopposed, Mr Ladega Adedayo (Ikorodu Central LGA), Wale Ameen, serving Vice Chairman, Ikorodu-North LCDA), Hon. Kazeem Sulaimon Olanrewaju, the incumbent Chairman, Ikorodu West LCDA, Hammed Olalekan Aroyewu (Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA) and Hon. Sunday Benson, the incumbent Imota LCDA, were elected after delegates from the various council areas voted.
